Laos Paksong Hills
This is our first coffee from Laos! I sourced this from Sweet Marias a couple of month ago along with two other coffees from Paksong hills in the southern region of Laos. Coffee is definitely not a popular crop in Laos especially compared to neighboring Vietnam, the 2nd largest world coffee supplier. A lot of this is due to the amount of unexploded bombs in the country side, a bi product of the vietnam war.
This coffee was grown at Paksong Hills and processed near by. The coffee is pulped and fermented to remove the sticky mucilage later and is later patio dried in the sun.
A very well rounded coffee! Classic tones of chocolate, caramel and little berry tea on the finish. This makes for a great daily driver for your morning brew. Great for pour-over. I've had this coffee sitting on our shelves for a couple of months now and I figured Its finally time to get it to you.
